Augustyn Wiernicki is the chairman of the board of the Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Bliźniemu im. Brata Krystyna and has been involved in charitable work since 1992.[1][2]

According to the association, Wiernicki has served as its president since its beginning, without pay, and was also a city councillor in Gorzów Wielkopolski from 2006.[2][3]
