I’m glad to see Brave speaking out agains WebBundle tech (AMP 2.0). This is part of Google’s ambition to serve the whole web from their own servers while pretending it’s coming from elsewhere. It’s also bad for privacy protections, as outlined by Brave in this post.

I'm so, so confused by this. WebBundles is part of an ambition to dig out from under tools that severely blunt the positive impact of many recent platform improvements like modules. It doesn't enable anything wrt URLs that's not already possible. The article seems plain wrong.

Bundles are the proposal that isn't signed, so they're not useful for the AMP cache. It looks like they're good for preloading in addition to the original use for a Save As format.
