There is no United Kingdom. It's a colonial fiction meaning the English colonial state to keep Scotland as a colony as Scotland is now being called in the UN system. Scotland's decolonisation has started via UN mechanisms and liberated Scotland's foreign policy will be very different. Scotland & Scots will not forget how European countries behaved and supported the English colonial state against it. Annexation is demonstrated and it's a supreme crime in international law.
