Ambassador @AmbBerger if the ICC is meant to build a more just world, why is there still no international compensation fund for Polish victims of World War II and no effective legal avenue for them to seek compensation from the perpetrator state? Is Germany prepared to do something about this, or will this issue continue to be ignored?

The only legal way would be to bring the case before the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague - but Germany would need to agree to that. If our Western neighbors truly respect international justice (embodied by all the international tribunals, including the ICC), agreeing to the above would be the right thing to do.
